I finally watched the latest version of The Painted Veil movie. I must say for a book jammed packed with excitement the movie moved so slowly. I actually dozed off at some point-I never do that. I am not sure why the director took that approach. The acting seemed stiff. I did like Ed Horton better than I thought I would. What are your thoughts?
